Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website (currently operating as “Tailwise”, the “service”). By using the website or submitting a questionnaire, you agree to them. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the service.
2. What the service is
You answer a questionnaire about your dog, and our team of experts — including veterinarians and certified nutrition specialists — prepares a personalized wellbeing card delivered to your email, normally within 3 days. The card covers everyday wellbeing topics such as nutrition, activity, enrichment and routines.
3. What the service is not
- It is not a medical or veterinary service: no diagnosis, no treatment, no prescriptions, and no veterinarian-client-patient relationship is created.
- It is not for emergencies. If your dog is sick or injured, contact your local veterinarian immediately.
If anything in your answers raises a health concern, our experts may recommend that you see a veterinarian instead of, or before, following the card's guidance.
4. Your part
- Provide honest, accurate information about your dog — the advice is only as good as the answers it's based on.
- Use the guidance with common sense and your own judgment, and introduce any changes (for example to diet) gradually.
- You confirm you are an adult and the owner or authorized caretaker of the dog.
5. Delivery
We aim to deliver every wellbeing card within 3 days of submission. This is a goal we take seriously, not a contractual guarantee — if a card is delayed, contact us and we'll sort it out.
6. Content and intellectual property
The website, its illustrations and the wellbeing cards are our work. Your dog's card is for your personal, non-commercial use — share it with your family, your dog-sitter or your vet, but please don't resell or republish it.
7. Liability
We prepare every card with care, but to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages resulting from the use of the guidance provided. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
8. Fair use
We may decline or discontinue a submission in cases of abuse, fraudulent use, or when we believe the request is outside what the service can responsibly help with.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version is always on this page, with the “last updated” date above.
